do people add the body weight on to the total when doing weighted pull ups or weighted tricep dips

MirPowerlifting63WC I do, because my bodyweight is not always steady (depends on whether I have a competition coming up), so bodyweight makes a difference in my case!

ctout85 thanks guys I think I'm going to add my body weight on top of the weight I'm using as my body weight changes alot when bulking and cutting.
