This workout is designed for beginners who want to put on some muscle to look better aesthetically, in the traditional bodybuilding scope. Specifically, it is meant to sculpt a well-rounded chest, V-tapered and powerful back, wide arms, muscular legs, and cannonball-like shoulders. The exercises were chosen from a huge variety of workout programs researched for attaining a better looking physique, such as beach body workouts, celebrity workouts, etc. It is for beginners, since each workout generally only takes about 40 minutes to complete, and it should not cause a great deal of fatigue and soreness. Those with more experience lifting can add abs and cardio to the program as needed for a leaner approach. The workouts can be divided any way that fits one's schedule. In addition, the basic compound or heavy exercises can be substituted with one's preference, such as dumbbell shoulder presses for the Smith machine presses, or barbell squats for Smith machine squats, etc.
